We love hearing feedback from the ground about how our donations are creating impact. We recently shipped out nearly 1,600 medical supplies to Saint Nicholas Pediatric Hospital (SNH) in Lviv, Ukraine which is serving as one of the few hospitals in the country capable of providing specialized care like pediatric cardiovascular and neurosurgeries. Despite facing challenges due to ongoing renovations interrupted by the conflict, the hospital remains dedicated to treating both chronic conditions and war-related traumas with a compassionate and resilient staff.

We're pleased to share that BBF President Ozzy Samad and Dr. Svetlana Faktorovich attended the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting. Dr. Faktorovich, a dedicated neurologist on our board, has tirelessly worked to facilitate the delivery of crucial neurology medicines to Ukraine during these challenging times of conflict. The two spoke on a panel at this premier gathering of neuroscience professionals, highlighting the power of collaboration between the medical community and nonprofits to make a difference in global health. The AAN Annual Meeting is known for its top-tier education, latest scientific discoveries, and unparalleled networking opportunities. It's the perfect platform to share insights, collaborate, and drive forward the mission of advancing neurological health and well-being.
