Our team is led by Mr. Panzarella who draws on 40 years of progressive leadership and management experience. He is a positive leader, ICF Certified Coach focusing on executives, team builder and entrepreneur. He helps others achieve a positive trajectory to accomplish life’s goals. Previously Phil was Chief Growth Officer for Easterseals DC MD VA helping people with disabilities and special needs live, work and play in their communities. He was Founder and Partner at 5th Grade Simple, LLC (5GS); delivering strategic planning, leadership training and executive coaching – helping executives achieve the next level of sustainable success. Phillip Panzarella prior to 5GS LLC was founder and CEO for CPS Professional Services, LLC, a service-disabled veteran-owned small delivering enterprise performance solutions and training to government clients. His firm was acquired by private equity in 2014 as a platform for future growth. Prior to joining CPS, Mr. Panzarella was the President of Siemens Government Services, Inc. At Siemens, Mr. Panzarella was responsible for delivering innovative IT solutions (ERP and ITO) to Public Sector Clients (State & Local, K-12, and Federal) and commercial clients. These solutions ranged from IT Consulting Services such as ERP implementations, migrations and network services to complete IT Outsourcing Services. In his capacity as an IT Executive, Mr. Panzarella delivered and managed a number of large outsourcing and consulting solutions to both commercial (Equant, PNC Bank, Glenmeade Trust, GlaxoSmithKline, Washington Gas, and Freddie Mac) and federal clients (Department of Homeland Security, Executive Office of the President, Department of Energy, State Department, Department of Defense and the Peace Corp). Prior to his employment with IBM, Mr. Panzarella had a distinguished ten-year career in the United States Army. As an Infantry Officer, Mr. Panzarella spent the majority of his time in leadership positions. He was selected as one of four Army Officers to attend Officer Advanced Course at the Marine Corps’ Amphibious Warfare School at Quantico. He then attended Graduate School at Georgetown University. While in this Graduate Program, Mr. Panzarella also acted as an intern on Capitol Hill for a distinguished Senator. Upon completion of Graduate School at Georgetown, Mr. Panzarella was selected to instruct at the United States Military Academy. A graduate of the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and a concentration in National Security, Mr. Panzarella has also earned two Masters Degrees (Business Administration and Public Policy). He is also a current member of the AUSA, the West Point Society of DC, the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce (Board Member), the LIDO Club and the Knights of Columbus. He is also a graduate of Leadership Fairfax (’03). He has been a resident in Fairfax County from 1989-2015 and he currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland.
