Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services

Founded in 1974, Good Shepherd Housing (GSH) is committed to preventing and ending homelessness by providing both housing and supportive services to our residents. GSH places families facing homelessness into our housing and maintains this housing at affordable rent levels for them. In addition to affordable housing, GSH supports our families with case management services, financial assistance, budgeting and credit management programs, and goal-directed individualized counseling to move them to greater self-sufficiency. GSH provides services in southeastern Fairfax County along 15 miles of Richmond Highway from Huntington to Lorton.
