This International Tea Day, we're spilling the tea with our Workplace Health & Safety Advisor, Ashleigh. ☕ What is the best thing about working at Transurban? Definitely the people I get to work with and the ways of working. We work collaboratively and this is something we really take pride in. What does 'a day in the life' look like for you? A day in the life in our team is never the same - some days we are proactively out on-site doing inspections and walks, and other days we are in the office completing our monthly reporting. So, what is the culture really like? Our team culture is excellent! Not only do my other team members genuinely care about me and my wellbeing, but Transurban as a whole also places such a great emphasis on employee health and wellbeing, allowing us to work flexibly, which creates an excellent work-life balance. And what about your career? Career progression is extremely important to me. Transurban has helped grow my career by providing study leave on top of standard leave entitlements, which allows me to develop and grow as a professional and complete my Diploma without giving up my personal leave.

    President, Transurban North America

At Transurban North America, our aim is clear: deliver transformational projects that create jobs and sustainably advance mobility for the long term. From our groundbreaking FredEx Project hosting the longest-reversible road in the U.S., to our 495 Express Lanes Northern Extension & Opitz Boulevard Connection projects in progress, to supporting the next generation of infrastructure talent at Virginia's Community College System's Infrastructure Academy, we're committed to driving this industry forward.    For over 12 years, Transurban's public-private #partnerships in the Greater Washington Area have enabled the delivery of four megaprojects, delivering $8 billion in economic impact, $4 billion in future-ready infrastructure & over 53,000 jobs for Virginia.  We're not just building; we're strengthening economies. I'm proud to lead our commitment to delivering future-focused transportation solutions. #InfrastructureWeek

An A-Team operation took place sky high 🚁 over Melbourne's Bolte Bridge last Sunday. The AusNet and Zinfra teams skillfully worked to remove four marker ball flashers that reached the end of their working life. The marker balls, each measuring one metre in diameter and weighing two to five kilograms, were originally installed in 1997 to aid Police Air Wing navigation. Due to their age, the marker balls were removed for the ongoing safety of motorists and the community.
